Offered here by George Belcher is the portfolio from (we think) 1909, of all 10 prints of cartoons from ‘TYPES & CHARACTERS OF LONDON LIFE’. The cartoons are in mint condition, the original cloth covered portfolio is good, with few stains but has 1 of the ties missing. We mention all 10 cartoons as something of this great age invariably has one or more missing.
The cartoons are all signed on the plate and although they vary slightly in size, the plate measure is 240 x 175mm.
