‘Zermatt’ by Francis A W T Armstrong is a fine numbered etching and has a re-marque telling the title, edition number and that the plate has been destroyed. I do not remember buying these F A W T ARMSTRONG etchings, I believe them to be from the original plates from c.1890. The re-marque is signed by R E ARMSTRONG. Don’t know but think it must be a family member. They are presented on museum quality board. Are on laid paper, watermarked FJ Head & Co. The re-marque will not show, be beneath the mount. They are in fine condition.

These 4 original, bucolic artist DONALD WOOD (1889 Leeds-1953) pencil sketches are studio pieces for the book, 'HUNTING LORE'. Are inscribed and dated Warcop via Penrith 1926. a couple are annotated in pencil by the artist. one with 2 horsemen chatting has a slight tear, top left. This can be mounted (matted) out or as I have done, left. alone. The 4 are mounted individually and sold as a set.
Would look splendid in a gentleman's office/smoking room/library
