LITTLEHAMPTON by Nelli Pickering. Impressionist watercolour of a river mouth with yachts moored is signed and dated H.P.’59. There is a note verso telling that it is a watercolour of LITTLEHAMPTON, July ’59 HP, NELLIE PICKERING. There is also a post-it note referring to Nellie Pickering and it being pre J.P.W.Wood Death. We know nothing of Nellie Pickering or Mr. Wood and have never been to Littlehampton but it is a cracking little watercolour. Fine condition. Image measures 200 x 280mm.
