Priddey, James - St. Sidwells & The Cathedral, Exeter


Born Handsworth, Birmingham. He studied at Moseley School of Art and at Birmingham College of Art (the world famous Margaret St.). Priddey exhibited widely including at the Royal Scottish Academy, Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Cambrian Academy, Royal West of England Academy, Society of Graphic Art, and at the Paris Salon where he received a silver medal in 1949. Priddey lived and worked in Harborne, Birmingham. He died just before Christmas in 1980.
Here is an etching with some aquatint of St. Sidwells church and the Cathedral in Exeter. With figures in the foreground. Titled and signed in pencil. No foxing or other blemishes. Image 350 x 250mm
